| The Ribbon of Hope Foundation was founded in 2003 by Rick & Kathy Miller, Meg Fay-Steinhardt, and Linda Rueckl (pictured above with Terry Lischka). Their strong desire to support breast cancer patients with emotional, informational, and financial assistance, coupled with strategic fundraising and generous friends and family allowed the Foundation to fund 18 grants during its inaugural year.
Although co-founder Kathy Miller lost her battle with breast cancer in 2008, the Foundation continues to thrive under the leadership of the current Board of Directors: Meg Fay-Steinhardt* (President); Diane Mangan* (Vice-President), Barb Roznowski* (Secretary); Rick Miller (Treasurer); Carol Cortez; Mary Eckert; and Linda Rueckl*.
In addition to our Board members, Ribbon of Hope relies on the generosity of dozens of individual volunteers and businesses to support our fundraising efforts, work in our office, create and distribute our newsletter, and facilitate our request process.
